Are you interested in helping out Mossley Cricket Club?

Below are a list of ways you can help your local club from sponsorship, coaching, playing or volunteering, whatever you can do no matter how big or small your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Running a local cricket club is very rewarding as it becomes the heart of the local community involving both Juniors and Adults alike, unfortunately it is also very costly exercise to keep a club running in the current climate.

Mossley Cricket Club is asking for your kind support by sponsoring us during the 2018 season, we have various packages available starting from sponsoring a match ball right through to full kit sponsorship for one of our teams, just click the 'Become a Sponsor' image to get full package details.

Sponsors can have a logo and advert placed on our website which will provide a link to your website as well as being mentioned on our social media outlets.

By giving your support to our small, village club you will be helping to promote our aim which is to transform Mossley Cricket Club into a centre of excellence, attracting talent from the local area and providing an inclusive ethos in which all are welcome to enjoy cricket in the true spirit of the game.

Mossley Cricket Club are always looking for new players of any age, ability or gender.

We are honoured to have 3 junior teams and proud to be one of the only clubs to have two female players who play regularly for the senior team.

If you are interested in playing cricket for Mossley then please get in touch.

Mossley Cricket Club are always looking for help behind the scenes, if you have some spare time and would like to get involved then please get in touch as we would love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for a Junior Coordinator.

The role will include being the main point of contact for juniors and their parents, working closely with the junior cricket coaches and Director of Coaching helping to develop the communication and promotion of junior cricket in the local community.

Within the club, the Junior Coordinator will carry out many of the administrative tasks thus allowing the team managers and coaches to focus on the cricket.  Another important aspect of the role will be encouraging the engagement of parents in supporting the club and of course, their children.

The role does not require any knowledge of cricket!  This is a role ideally suited to someone who is keen to support the club’s endeavours to promote junior cricket and will require good organisational and communication skills.

This is a new role to the club and it signals the importance of junior cricket and the desire to develop it further.  If you are interested in stepping forward and volunteering to take on this role or keen to find out more, please contact Laura Griffiths in the first instance.
